Boasting 30 million pre-registrations, Infinity Nikki made a significant splash in the cozy open-world genre even before its release. AppMagic data (via Pocket Gamer) reveals a strong launch week with $3.51 million in revenue, followed by $4.26 million and $3.84 million in subsequent weeks. While weekly revenue dipped to $1.66 million by the fifth week, the cumulative total still reached nearly $16 million. This significantly outperforms both Love Nikki's ($383,000) and Shining Nikki's ($6.2 million) first-month earnings. It's important to note that these figures only reflect mobile platform revenue.
China Fuels Infinity Nikki's Success
Infinity Nikki's success story is significantly fueled by its Chinese market performance. With over 5 million downloads in China, representing more than 42% of the total, the region played a crucial role in the game's financial achievement.
Post-launch analysis shows daily revenue peaking at over $1.1 million on December 6th. While daily earnings subsequently declined, reaching a low of $141,000 on December 26th, the release of Version 1.1 on December 30th resulted in a significant revenue surge to $665,000 – almost triple the previous day's earnings.
