The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: Minccino and Cinccino in stylish outfits!
When is Costume Minccino Available?
Costume Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These fashionable Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Costume Minccino has a shiny variant, but Costume Cinccino does not.
The event also features costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms in the wild and Raids.
How to Catch Costume Minccino:
Unlike previous events, obtaining Costume Minccino is limited to two methods:
One-Star Raids:
Costume Minccino appears in easily soloable One-Star Raids. However, One-Star Raids also feature Costume Shinx and Furfrou, requiring some searching to find a Minccino Raid.
Paid Timed Research:
A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket grants access to a Timed Research featuring XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and encounters with Costume Minccino. Completing the research guarantees at least one Costume Minccino.
Field Research Tasks:
While Field Research Tasks offer encounters with event Pokémon, Niantic hasn't specified if Costume Minccino will be included. It's likely to be less common than the Raid and paid research options.
Obtaining Costume Cinccino:
To get Costume Cinccino, evolve a Costume Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
