- Expanded Story: Five new chapters featuring six challenging bosses, four formidable mini-bosses, and 30 diverse enemy types, culminating in a confrontation with the Chinese mythology-inspired He Luo.
- New Sects: Three exciting new sects revolutionize combat strategies: the Wheels of Solar and Lunar (harnessing sun and moon powers), the Underworld Vidyaraja (manipulating life and death), and the Soul Blade Shura Sect (mastering flying swords and sword spirits). Combined with the seven existing sects, players have over ten distinct character builds to explore.
- Enhanced Progression: 31 new universal skill books, 18 relics, and 25 weapons expand customization options. A new "Heart of All Things" talent system allows players to earn talent points for unlocking powerful abilities upon leveling up.
- Time Affixes: Defeating bosses grants Time Affixes, adding resonance effects to builds for amplified power.
