Game review codes will be distributed in the coming days following the game's gold master status in early December, according to global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling. These codes are expected four weeks before launch to allow reviewers and streamers ample time for preparation and initial feedback.
Interestingly, initial "final previews" based on sections of the review build will be available a week after the code drops.
The release date shift to February 4th, 2025, aims to deliver a polished gaming experience to kick off the new year. This also strategically avoids competing directly with the February launches of Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
Platform availability includes PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Console players can expect 4K/30 fps and 1440p/60 fps options. The PS5 Pro version is optimized for enhanced performance at launch.
PC players aiming for ultra settings will need a system with at least an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and either a GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
