Although Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched in significantly better shape than its predecessor, it's not immune to the technical hiccups common in expansive RPGs with ambitious scopes. Warhorse Studios remains committed to enhancing the game post-launch, with their upcoming patch poised to be a substantial undertaking.
In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global PR manager, revealed that the next patch will tackle over 1,000 bugs.
"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."
Gamers are keenly awaiting this patch, not only for the bug fixes but also for potential new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. Given the extensive development time, there's optimism for significant enhancements, though detailed information will only be available once the full patch notes are released.

Additionally, Warhorse Studios has confirmed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will introduce official mod support within the next two weeks. However, the initial modding capabilities will be limited; for example, players won't be able to create custom missions right away. The studio plans to further develop these modding tools in the future. As of now, no specific release date for the patch has been announced.
