Marvel Rivals is starting the year with a bang, featuring epic collaborations with not one, not two, but THREE other Marvel games. NetEase Games has orchestrated these exciting partnerships with Marvel Snap, Marvel Puzzle Quest, and Marvel Future Fight, all of which are popular mobile titles.
Launched just last month in December 2024, Marvel Rivals is a thrilling 6v6 hero shooter developed by NetEase in collaboration with Marvel Games. Available on both PC and consoles, the game lets players control iconic Marvel characters as they battle it out on various maps. When Do the Marvel Rivals Collabs Kick Off?
The Marvel Rivals collaborations are set to begin on January 3rd, coinciding with the game's Winter Event, which concludes on January 9th. While there's no official end date for the crossover yet, fans can expect a multiversal mash-up across all four games. A teaser image featuring Galacta, the game's announcer and daughter of Galactus, was shared on social channels, but details remain scarce.
This crossover is a significant event for Marvel enthusiasts, allowing them to transition seamlessly from the strategic deck-building of Marvel Snap to the engaging puzzle-solving of Marvel Puzzle Quest, and then to the high-octane action of Marvel Future Fight, all within the Marvel Rivals universe.
In addition to the collaborations, Marvel Rivals is introducing new characters today, January 2nd. Moon Knight joins the fray as the Lunar General, donning azure-scaled armor, while Squirrel Girl leads her squirrel-dragon army as the Cheerful Dragoness.
