Victoria Hand Deck Synergies
- Victoria Hand boosts cards added to your hand by card generators.
- Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl serve as your card generators. (Frigga and Moon Girl also duplicate key cards, enhancing buffs or disrupting opponents.)
- Quinjet reduces the cost of generated cards.
- The Collector's power increases with each generated card.
- Cosmo acts as a tech card, protecting Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand from enemy attacks.
- Devil Dinosaur is your primary win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or with numerous generated cards in hand.
Reports suggest Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or cards that change locations. Whether this is a bug or intended functionality remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text requires clarification. Regardless, it's a factor to consider when using Victoria Hand decks.
Effective Victoria Hand Gameplay
Successful Victoria Hand deck play hinges on these strategies:
- Energy Management: Balance card generation and energy expenditure. A full hand maximizes Devil Dinosaur's growth, but you also need space for card generation and Victoria's effect. Efficient energy use is crucial; sometimes skipping a turn to maintain a full hand outweighs filling the board.
- Strategic Card Placement: Utilize "joker" cards to mislead your opponent. Victoria Hand decks generate many random cards. Strategic placement of these cards can distract your opponent and mask your next move.
- Protecting Your Ongoing Lane: Opponents often target the Victoria Hand lane with tech cards like Enchantress. Counter this by playing Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand in the same lane (creating an Ongoing setup) and shielding them with Cosmo.
Alternative Discard Deck for Victoria Hand
Victoria Hand is also proving effective in refined discard decks. For a strong discard deck, pair Victoria Hand with: Helicarrier, MODOK, Morbius, Scorn, Blade, Apocalypse, Swarm, Corvus Glaive, Colleen Wing, Lady Sif, and The Collector.

Countering Victoria Hand
Super Skrull is currently an excellent counter to Victoria Hand. Many players utilize Doctor Doom 2099 decks, which Skrull synergizes with, making him a strong tech card regardless of whether the opponent uses Victoria Hand or Doom 2099 lineups.
Other counters include Shadow King and Enchantress. Shadow King removes Victoria's buffs from a single lane, while Enchantress nullifies her buffs entirely by removing all Ongoing effects. Valkyrie, played in a critical enemy lane, can also disrupt their Power distribution.
Is Victoria Hand a Valuable Acquisition?
Victoria Hand is a worthwhile addition to any player's collection. Whether acquired through the Spotlight Cache or purchased with Tokens, she offers a strong return on investment. While her effectiveness relies somewhat on RNG, her permanent buffs facilitate consistent deck building. Her compatibility with multiple archetypes, such as card-generation and discard, makes her a valuable asset for many players.
