This season introduces a roster of nefarious characters, including Iron Patriot (Norman Osborn), Victoria Hand, Bullseye, Moonstone, and Ares. These new cards are inspired by Marvel's Dark Reign storyline, following Norman Osborn's takeover of S.H.I.E.L.D. and his formation of a villainous Avengers team.
Players can acquire these characters throughout the season: Victoria Hand (January 7th), Bullseye (January 21st), Moonstone (January 14th), and Ares (January 28th). The season also features a new location, Asgard Besieged, depicting Asgard under attack.
