Pokémon GO's Halloween event, Part 1, is almost here! Niantic has revealed the details, promising spooky encounters and exciting features – with a Part 2 to follow!
The event runs from Tuesday, October 22nd, 10:00 a.m. local time, to Monday, October 28th, 10:00 a.m. local time.

Morpeko Debuts: The Electric/Dark-type Pokémon Morpeko makes its Pokémon GO debut. Its unique ability to switch between Full Belly Mode and Hangry Mode mid-battle, altering its Aura Wheel attack (Electric in Full Belly Mode, Dark in Hangry Mode), adds a thrilling new dynamic to GO Battle League and Team GO Rocket battles. Morpeko will be more frequently encountered in the premium GO Battle League track, and available from Rank 16 onwards.

Festive Atmosphere: Enjoy special Halloween decorations and a remix of the classic Lavender Town theme music playing nightly.

Dynamax Raids: Engage in one-star Max Raids featuring Dynamax Gastly, alongside Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

Timed Research: A free Timed Research event focusing on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits runs from October 22nd to November 3rd. Completion rewards include encounters with Halloween-themed Pokémon like Spiritomb and Morpeko.
