Netflix and Supercell have revealed plans to adapt the beloved Clash gaming franchise into an animated series set in the Clash of Clans and Clash Royale universe. Currently in pre-production, the show promises to "capture the chaotic essence of the games," according to Netflix's official announcement.
The Battle Comes to Animation
The series will follow "an enthusiastic but overmatched Barbarian who must unite a ragtag group of warriors to protect their village while navigating the hilarious complexities of wartime politics." The announcement sparked excitement across the Clash community.
The Clash of Clans social media accounts joined the celebration with a playful teaser: "Sound the horns! Raise your banners! The Clash universe is storming @Netflix! Our animated series will feature your favorite mustachioed Barbarian and his high-pitched Hog Rider companions. To battle!"

Netflix's animation team expressed their enthusiasm for the project. "For over a decade, Clash has captivated gamers worldwide with its unique blend of humor, action, and memorable characters - ideal ingredients for an animated adaptation," said John Derderian, VP of Animation at Netflix.
"Collaborating with Supercell and talented creators Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, we're translating the fun, chaos and spirit of Clash into a fresh animated format. We're excited for both longtime fans and new audiences to experience this wild adventure."
