Apple Arcade's lineup expands today with a new Vision Pro game, a promoted App Store Great now available on the service, and an App Store Great's upgrade to an Apple Arcade Original (as a standalone release). Among the additions is NFL Retro Bowl 25 (), initially announced as an update but now launched as a new app, allowing players to build their own NFL dynasty using official teams and players, complete with retro art, accurate attributes, stats, and contracts. The online enthusiasm for this release surprised many, including myself. I'm eager to see how it performs.
Simultaneously, the App Store Great Monster Train+ joins Apple Arcade, including its The Last Divinity DLC from launch. See a screenshot from NFL Retro Bowl 25 below:
Puzzle Sculpt, a Vision Pro exclusive, also debuts today, challenging players to solve puzzles in their living rooms by removing blocks to reveal hidden collectibles within a cube.
This week's notable updates include: Hello Kitty Island Adventure's Jam Jamboree featuring Petunias in Merry Meadow; Rabbids Multiverse's new cards, outfits, seasonal events, and quality-of-life improvements; Wylde Flowers' Magical Creatures update adding jewelry crafting, lighthouse secrets, and more; Disney Spellstruck's Hercules limited-time event and high-contrast mode; and What the Car's latest update, including a "Meet the Developers" special, scissors, and bear improvements.
