Nintendo has officially confirmed that preorders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 will begin on April 9, 2025, in the United States and April 8, 2025, in the UK. The console will launch globally on June 5, 2025, priced at $449.99.
For fans looking to bundle, Nintendo is also offering a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle for $499.99 in the U.S., which includes both the console and a digital download code for the brand-new Mario Kart World game, available starting June 5. If you prefer to purchase the game separately, it will retail for $79.99—a premium price point that reflects its anticipated popularity among racing fans.

Registered users will receive email invitations on a first-come, first-served basis starting April 9, with priority given to those who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and at least 50 gameplay hours logged by April 2, 2025.
After priority invites are distributed, remaining registrants will be considered accordingly. Invitations are non-transferable and valid for 72 hours. Each account is limited to one console and one of each accessory. Major retailers are also expected to open preorder slots on April 9, 2025.
