A speedrunner conquered The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch 2 during Japan's Nintendo Switch 2 Experience event, finishing the acclaimed RPG within the strict 10-minute time limit.
As reported by VGC, Japanese creator Ikaboze tackled the challenge using an unfamiliar save file with randomized gear. Opting for maximum difficulty, he resolved to "defeat Ganon completely naked with all equipment removed." Loading directly into the final battle, he toppled Calamity Ganon in just seven minutes, earning roaring applause from spectators.

The achievement proved especially remarkable given Ikaboze used an unfamiliar controller and battled convention hall noise that drowned out game audio.
"The crowd size shocked me," he admitted. "Even staff recorded it on phones. Since nobody had cleared the demo before, the team personally congratulated me."
The Nintendo Switch 2 Enhanced Edition of Breath of the Wild delivers visual upgrades, performance improvements, achievement system, and integration with Nintendo Switch Online's Zelda Notes service. While original Switch owners must purchase a $10 upgrade pack for these features, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers receive both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom enhancements at no extra cost.
