FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros. have exciting news for fans of the Oceanhorn series. They've announced a new addition to the franchise, titled Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, which is set to launch in Q2 2025. This upcoming game takes place 200 years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm and will be available on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam.
What’s the Story in the New Game Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon?
Unlike its predecessors, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon shifts the focus from sailing the seas to exploring a perilous underground labyrinth. Players will immerse themselves in a retro-inspired dungeon crawler adventure.
The game is set in a troubled world of Gaia, where the once-mighty Kingdom of Arcadia has fragmented into scattered islands, and the legendary White City has faded into legend. Amidst this chaos, four determined adventurers set out to explore the Chronos Dungeon, a mysterious underground complex rumored to house the Paradigm Hourglass—an artifact capable of rewriting history. Their mission: to brave the dangers within and restore the world to its former glory.

What About the Features?
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon embraces the classic dungeon crawler format with a nostalgic 16-bit arcade feel. It's designed for couch co-op, allowing up to four players to join forces for some cooperative gameplay. If you're flying solo, you can control all four heroes or switch between them as needed to tackle the game's challenges.
Each playthrough brings new experiences as the heroes' stats are influenced by their zodiac signs, ensuring variability in gameplay. The four playable characters include Knight, Huntress, Grandmaster, and Mage.
Adding to the retro charm are the pixel art visuals and a chiptune-inspired soundtrack, complete with old-school arcade elements. For more information, the Steam page for Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is now live, offering further details on this exciting new game from FDG Entertainment.
