Following the announcement of their new game, Project C4, ZA/UM has revealed an official mobile version of the critically acclaimed Disco Elysium, exclusively for Android devices. Their aim is to introduce Disco Elysium to a wider audience while providing existing fans with a convenient, portable alternative. To achieve this, the first two chapters will be available for free, with a one-time purchase unlocking the complete, ad-free experience.
ZA/UM emphasizes a commitment to transparency, stating, "We want players to make an informed decision about their potential purchase. Today’s ZA/UM studio is comprised of both creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP. We take both of those roles very seriously and we believe that is evident in the Disco Elysium mobile experience we are creating."

Studio head Denis Havel highlighted the game's appeal to the TikTok generation, explaining, "We intend to captivate the TikTok user with quick hits of compelling story, art, and audio, ultimately creating an all new, deeply engaging form of entertainment."
The announcement included a debut trailer and screenshots showcasing new, 360-degree scenes designed for mobile users, placing them directly within the world of Revachol. The mobile version also features brand new, fully voiced audio for an enhanced immersive experience.

Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," emphasizing its suitability for short bursts of gameplay.
Disco Elysium will launch on mobile via Google Android in Summer 2025.
It's important to note that, while the studio name remains the same, significant personnel changes have occurred since the original Disco Elysium's release. Many key members have departed ZA/UM, some of whom are now working on spiritual successor projects.
