Unlock the New "Photograph" Emote in Final Fantasy XIV!
One of Final Fantasy XIV's most enjoyable social features is the diverse range of character emotes. This guide details how to obtain the newly added "Photograph" emote.
This emote, a result of a collaboration with Fujifilm Instax, is included in Patch 7.18 at no extra cost. Unlike many emotes requiring quests or purchases, the "Photograph" emote is immediately available in your Emote menu after downloading the patch. No level or expansion pack is needed!
Accessing and Using the Emote:
To use it, navigate to your Emote menu (under the "Social" tab), find "Photograph" (usually in the "General" section), and select it. Your character will then mimic taking a Polaroid photo. Add it to your favorites for easy access.
The emote is versatile, working underwater (like the Ruby Sea) and even while mounted (both ground and flying). It's a fun way to add unique poses to your screenshots.
