The Sims 4 Blast from the Past event has players on another exciting scavenger hunt! Unlocking the latest rewards requires finding hidden resources. This guide shows you exactly where to find Plathinum and Ironyum.
How to Find Plathinum & Ironyum in The Sims 4 Blast from the Past Event
The "Inventing the Past" quests, part of the Blast from the Past Week 2 challenges, require you to collect Plathinum and Ironyum for Emit. Fortunately, locating these resources is straightforward.
The process is identical to finding the Special Time Capsule. Simply find an area with rocks and dirt mounds—parks are ideal. Pause the game to carefully scan the area. Once you spot a promising spot, walk over and dig. It might take a few attempts, but you'll eventually unearth Plathinum and Ironyum, unlocking the next quest: building the Time Travel Component.
If you're struggling to find suitable digging spots, speeding up in-game time can help generate more rocks and dirt mounds. However, avoid spending too long in fast-forward mode, as you might miss your chance to dig.
