Sony has officially revealed the new wave of titles joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025. This month’s lineup brings exciting additions such as *Sand Land*, *S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy*, *Battlefield 5*, and more, offering a wide variety of gameplay experiences across genres and generations.
The full list was detailed in a recent PlayStation Blog post, confirming that these titles will be available starting May 20 for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. The update includes a total of six new games for Extra and Premium tiers, with an additional nine titles coming to the Game Catalog this month.
New Additions to PlayStation Plus Game Catalog – May 2025
Leading the charge for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 is *Sand Land*, the highly anticipated action RPG based on Akira Toriyama's beloved manga. Alongside it are standout entries like *Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition* and the expansive *S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy*. An enhanced version of the *S.T.A.L.K.E.R.* trilogy was also announced earlier today for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, set to release on the same day. According to GSC Game World, players who own the original console trilogy will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost—though it remains unclear if this offer applies to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
For PlayStation Plus Premium members, the sci-fi combat title *Battle Engine Aquila* joins the catalog as a retro-inspired classic. The game lets players pilot mobile war machines capable of engaging enemies both on land and in the air.
