PlayStation Previews Future in State of Play Showcase

PlayStation's February 12-13, 2025 State of Play showcased a diverse lineup of upcoming titles, offering updates and fresh reveals. Key highlights included:

Major Game Reveals & Updates:

• Borderlands 4: Gameplay footage revealed a return to the series' signature gunplay, humor, and chaotic encounters. Launching September 23, 2025.

• Onimusha: Way of the Sword: A trailer for this samurai action game, reminiscent of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, promises stylish combat and intrigue in feudal Kyoto. Launching in 2026; a remastered Onimusha 2 arrives May 23, 2025.

• Saros: Housemarque (creators of Returnal) presented this new rogue-like third-person action game, featuring a surreal, Lynchian narrative inspired by Indian mythology. Set on the planet Carcosa, it's slated for a 2026 release.

• Hell is Us: Described as "Death Stranding with action," this action-adventure title, directed by Jonathan Jacques-Belletête (Deus Ex), draws inspiration from Annihilation. Launching September 4, 2025.

• Days Gone Remastered: An updated version with enhanced graphics and new gameplay modes, releasing April 25, 2025.

• Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater: A remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, featuring all bosses, launching August 28, 2025.

• MindsEye: Leslie Benzies' (former Rockstar Games) new project promises to redefine gaming, with a summer 2025 release.

• Overture DLC for Lies of P: Exploring the protagonist's backstory in the snowy city of Krat, releasing summer 2025.
