May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, with a plethora of events and raid opportunities. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio to 5-star raids in various regions, offering players a chance to encounter these sought-after Pokémon once again.
What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?
Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th, bringing along its special move, Nature's Madness, and a chance to encounter its Shiny form.
Following that, starting on May 12th, the Lake Trio will make their appearance based on your region. Uxie will be available in the Asia-Pacific, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.
After the Lake Trio departs, Tapu Bulu will take the stage in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and a Shiny form.
For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers an impressive lineup. From May 1st to 12th, Mega Houndoom will be available, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.
And Here Are the Details of All the Events
The month will feature several events, starting with the "Growing Up" event from May 2nd to 7th, and a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. From May 10th to 18th, players can participate in the "Crown Clash" event, with a special Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.
Community Day is scheduled for May 11th, though the featured Pokémon remains a surprise for now. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will run from May 14th to 18th, and a Shadow Raid Day is planned for May 17th.
Later in the month, "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" will take place from May 21st to 27th, with the May Community Day Classic happening on May 24th. Pokémon GO will wrap up the month with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day on May 25th, 2025.
