Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai, the Gen IX Pokemon, to the game. This event, running until January 19th, 8 PM local time, offers more than just these new additions.
New Pokemon & Encounters:
- Shroodle: Hatchable from 12 km Eggs.
- Grafaiai: Evolves from Shroodle using 50 Candy.
- Surprise Encounters: Snapshot encounters with a fashionably dressed Croagunk.

- Increased Team GO Rocket presence at PokéStops and in balloons.
- Charged TMs can now remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
- A Special Research storyline to rescue Shadow Palkia.
- Field Research tasks awarding Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs.
