Get ready for giant Pokémon battles! Pokémon GO has officially confirmed the arrival of Dynamax Pokémon in its upcoming Max Out season. This exciting new feature will be a highlight of a season packed with events and rewards.
Max Out Season: September 10th - September 15th
The Max Out season runs from September 10th, 10:00 a.m. local time, to September 15th, 8:00 p.m. local time. Prepare for a week of oversized Pokémon action!
Dynamax Pokémon Debut in 1-Star Max Battles:
The following Dynamax Pokémon will debut in 1-star Max Battles:
- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
- Skwovet
- Wooloo
Catch these Dynamax Pokémon (and their evolutions!), with a chance to find shiny variants! Special Field Research tasks and PokéStop Showcases will also offer event-themed rewards.
A special Seasonal Special Research story will be available from September 3rd to December 3rd, offering Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more.
Max Particle Bundle Available:
A Max Particle Pack Bundle (4,800 Max Particles) will be available on the Pokémon GO web store for $7.99 starting September 8th, 6:00 p.m. PDT.
Future Updates:
Rumors suggest the arrival of Power Spots next month, serving as key locations for Max Battles. While Gigantamax Pokémon remain unconfirmed, Niantic has hinted at further details regarding Dynamax battles in the near future. Interestingly, some Dynamax-capable Pokémon may also Mega Evolve, according to a report by Eurogamer.
