Niantic's year-end Catch-a-thon event returns, offering a second chance to catch Community Day Pokémon! This exclusive event boasts special rewards and the possibility of encountering Shiny Pokémon.
The Catch-a-thon takes place on December 21st and 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. Featured Pokémon include:
- December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
- December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.
During the final ten minutes of each hour, players can encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. The event also features 2x XP for catching Pokémon and 2x Stardust, along with numerous other rewards. Full details are available on the official Pokémon Go website.
