Pokémon: Trainer Tour – Launching July 31st!
A Celebration of the Pokémon TCG Community
The Pokémon Company International is thrilled to announce its first-ever reality show, "Pokémon: Trainer Tour," premiering globally on Prime Video and the Roku Channel on July 31st.
Hosts Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17) and Andrew Mahone (Tricky Gym) will travel the country in a Pikachu-themed bus, meeting and mentoring aspiring Pokémon TCG players. They'll share the stories and passion of diverse Pokémon enthusiasts, highlighting the strong bonds formed within the Pokémon community and its TCG.
Andy Gose, Senior Director of Media Production at The Pokémon Company International, stated that the show is a unique opportunity to showcase the breadth and depth of the Pokémon fanbase. He emphasized the importance of highlighting the connections fostered through the game.
Since its 1996 debut, the Pokémon TCG has captivated millions. Nearly 30 years later, it remains a global phenomenon with a fiercely loyal following and a vibrant competitive scene.
