The Pokémon TCG Pocket app celebrated Pokémon Day with major announcements! Boasting over 100 million downloads, the popular card battler launched its highly anticipated Triumphant Light expansion, following the Space-Time Smackdown set. This new expansion features Arceus ex and introduces Link Abilities for the first time, allowing specific Pokémon to synergize for enhanced power. These cards will feature a special pattern reminiscent of physical TCG cards, similar to the Platinum – Arceus expansion.
To commemorate Pokémon Day, players can claim free booster packs until April 30th. These packs guarantee at least one 4-star or higher rarity card, providing a boost to both new and experienced players. Special missions offering additional rewards are also available until March 27th.

March will also see the introduction of a ranked match feature, bringing a competitive edge to the game. This new mode will allow players to test their decks against others and climb the ranks. More details on the ranked mode will be revealed soon.
