The highly anticipated sequel, Predator: Badlands, has just released its teaser trailer, sparking excitement among sci-fi and action fans. The Predator she encounters appears to be unlike any we've seen before, possibly even taking on a protagonist role. Beyond the intriguing new Predator, the trailer teases connections to the Alien universe, hinting at a potential setup for a new Aliens vs Predator film. Notably, Fanning's eyes mimic the Weyland Yutani reboot effect seen in Alien: Romulus, raising questions about her character's nature—could she be a synthetic? Predator: Badlands was first announced in February 2024, with its release date confirmed in October of the same year. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for 10 Cloverfield Lane and the Predator prequel Prey, and co-written with Patrick Aison, Predator: Badlands is slated for a theatrical release on November 7, 2025.
