Project NET: Pre-Registration and Shock Point Test Now Open
Pre-Registration is Live!
The highly anticipated mobile shooter, Project NET, launched its pre-registration on March 3, 2025, as announced via the official Southeast Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account. To join the ranks of eager players, simply visit the official SEA website and click the "Pre-Register" button. You'll then need to provide your email address and select your preferred platform (iOS or Android). Pre-registration is also open on the official Russian (RU) website.
Shock Point Test: Philippines Only (Android)
Alongside pre-registration, Project NET announced a limited beta test, the "Shock Point Test," on March 4, 2025. This test is exclusively for players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. Access is limited, and the test is non-monetized; all data will be wiped after completion. A similar Shock Point Test will also be held in Russia, with details available on the RU website. The developers are actively optimizing the game for a global launch in the future.
Here's the official schedule for SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration:
Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants can expect confirmation emails between March 24th and March 26th, 2025. Further test participant selections will be ongoing throughout the testing period, the dates of which are yet to be announced.
Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Legacy
First announced on December 27, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its initial localized test in several SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9th to January 16th, 2025.
Building upon the success of the original Girls’ Frontline (a popular strategy RPG gacha game launched in 2016, which has since spawned an anime and other games), and its recent sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5, 2024), Project NET promises a familiar aesthetic and characters within a fast-paced third-person shooter experience.
While a release date for Project NET remains unannounced, the game is currently slated for release on iOS and Android, based on the devices used during its initial test.
