The personalized 3D audio profiles allow users to tailor audio settings to their hearing, enhancing immersion with compatible headsets like the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore. Sound tests generate custom profiles for optimal spatial awareness within games.
The updated Remote Play settings provide more granular control over remote access to the PS5 console, particularly beneficial for households with multiple users. Access can be managed via [Settings] > [System] > [Remote Play] > [Enable Remote Play].
For users of the slim PS5 model, adaptive charging optimizes controller charging while the console is in rest mode. This power-saving feature adjusts charging based on battery levels and can be enabled through [Settings] > [System] > [Power Saving] > [Features Available in Rest Mode] > [Supply Power to USB Ports] > [Adaptive].
Beta Availability and Global Rollout
Currently, the beta is invite-only, limited to participants in the U.S., Canada, Japan, U.K., Germany, and France. Sony plans a wider release in the coming months.
