Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th launch, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor have been delayed, but now have a confirmed release date: January 28th, 2025. This launch will bring the relaxing puzzler to both PS4 and PS5 consoles.
Initially released in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered praise for its charming atmosphere, clever puzzles, and engaging gameplay, earning a strong "83/100" rating on OpenCritic. The PlayStation port, announced earlier, faced a delay to ensure the best possible player experience, according to publisher Whitethorn Games.
The January 28th launch date was confirmed on January 9th, 2025. While the date is now set, a PlayStation Store page is still pending, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available. The game is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Game Selection
Botany Manor's arrival on PlayStation significantly strengthens the platform's puzzle game library. Its proven success and positive reception make it a strong contender amongst existing PlayStation titles. With this release, Botany Manor will finally be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios, the London-based developer, has yet to announce its next project.
January 28th will be a busy day for PlayStation gamers, with Botany Manor joining other notable releases such as Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
