The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) kicks off with a massive Open Qualifier featuring over 90,000 participants vying for a share of the $500,000 prize pool. This premier international PUBG Mobile esports event, launched February 13th, provides a platform for emerging talent to compete against established teams.
The Open Qualifiers, exclusively for amateur players, ensure fresh faces get their chance to shine. Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player from Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 have already advanced to Round 2. Upcoming weeks will see intense competition for a coveted spot in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll face off against top performers from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.
Twelve teams will ultimately earn a place in the PMGO Main Event, challenging top-tier professional players. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their Main Event positions based on their exceptional performance in the PMGC 2024. Four more will join them, qualifying through regional tournaments like the PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.
The Open Qualifiers conclude March 2nd, followed by the Prelims (April 10th-11th) and the Main Event (April 12th-13th). This tournament marks the beginning of a thrilling year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC returning later in 2025.
