Originally showcased at the 2022 BOOOM Gamejam, Cato: Buttered Cat's positive reception led to its development as a full game. Currently available on Steam for PC, it's soon heading to Android and other platforms. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register via the official TapTap page.
Gameplay:
Cato: Buttered Cat is a charming puzzle platformer where you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and explore five whimsical worlds teeming with quirky contraptions. With 200 levels, including side quests, 30 outfits, and hidden secrets, there's plenty to discover. The gameplay cleverly utilizes the cat's agility and the toast's projectile properties; use them together to overcome challenges!
The cat climbs and runs, while the toast acts as a controllable projectile, allowing the cat to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add to the replayability.
