As summer approaches, the excitement for the Esports World Cup in Riyadh intensifies, and the journey to the top has officially begun for Honor of Kings. Today marks the kickoff of the first Regional Leagues, setting the stage for intense competition across the globe.
Seven regional leagues, spanning from the Philippines to Brazil, are underway, where teams will battle to be crowned the best in their region. More importantly, they're vying for a coveted spot in the Honor of Kings World Cup, scheduled to take place later this year in Riyadh.
The Kings World Cup (KWC) itself will feature an exhilarating showdown among 18 teams. For the first time, the qualifying teams from the Regional Leagues will compete against the champions of the KPL Spring season, promising an even more intense esports spectacle.
The start dates for the various leagues are as follows:
- Indonesia Kings Laga: Group Stage (11th-18th May), Playoffs (30th May, 1st June)
- MY Honor of Kings League: Group Stage (18th April-25th May), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
- Philippine King League: Group Stage (11th April-25th May), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
- Wildcard King Series: Group Stage (16th May-1st June), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
- Major East League: Group Stage (17th-20th April, 24th-27th April), Knockout Stage (2nd-3rd May), Major Last Call (4th May)
- Major West League: Group Stage (17th-20th April, 24th-27th April), Knockout Stage (2nd-3rd May), Major Last Call (4th May)
- Honor of Kings Brazil Championship: Group Stage (16th-18th May, 22nd-25th May), Playoffs (31st May-1st June, 7th-8th June)
