Reverse: 1999 Version 1.8 Update "Farewell, Rayashiki" Arrives August 15th!
Prepare for an exciting new chapter in Reverse: 1999! The Version 1.8 update, titled "Farewell, Rayashiki," launches August 15th, 2024, introducing new characters, story content, and more. Read on for all the details!
Bidding Farewell to Rayashiki
The main event, "Farewell, Rayashiki," runs from August 15th to September 16th. Hard mode unlocks on August 22nd, offering rewards like Clear Drops and Cornerstones. Complete the first chapter of the main story by August 15th to receive the "Gift of the Stars," containing 600 Clear Drops and 5 Picrasma Candy.
Beyond the main event, Version 1.8 also includes "Journey to North," a two-part event offering seven free Unilogs. Part one runs from August 15th to August 29th, and part two from August 29th to September 19th.
New Characters and Banner Events
Two new Arcanists join the fray: Vila and Windsong.

Vila: A 6-star Plant Afflatus Arcanist, Vila is a powerful support character with healing, purification, and damage buff capabilities. The "Ode to the Utopia" banner featuring Vila (6-star) and Avgust (5-star) runs from August 15th to August 29th.

Windsong: A 6-star Star Afflatus Arcanist. The "The Intersecting Lines" banner featuring Windsong (6-star), Sweetheart (5-star Beast Afflatus), and Blonney (5-star Star Afflatus) is live from August 29th to September 19th.
A rerun banner, "Yearning of the Water," featuring 6-star Shamane and 6-star Spathodea, will be available from September 1st to September 14th.
