Rivals Update 9 Introduces the Gunblade and Bridge Map as Nosniy Prepares to Add Ranked Mode

Roblox's Rivals FPS experience receives Update 9, introducing the Gunblade and Bridge map. Developer Nosniy Games focused this update on these two additions, foregoing bug fixes and balance changes for now.

The Gunblade is a hybrid weapon combining a rifle and a blade, promising exciting new combat strategies. The Bridge map, created by @GreatGuyBoom and set in Seoul, is a close-quarters combat arena built for intense duels.

While this update is smaller than previous ones, minor adjustments were made to the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins, and some weapon names were updated (Hexxed to Vexed). The developers emphasize that planned bug fixes, balance adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements will be included in the next major update, which will finally introduce the highly anticipated Ranked mode.

The team assures players that community feedback is being considered and incorporated into the upcoming Ranked update. Previous updates, like Update 7 which added the Energy Rifle and other weapons, demonstrate the game's commitment to regular content additions. • Minor modifications to Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins.
• Renamed weapons: Hexxed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle, and Hexxed wrap are now Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, and Vexed respectively.
