Baldur's Gate 3 offers a plethora of romance options, yet some of the most intriguing encounters are easily overlooked. One such hidden gem is the fleeting romance with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress. This guide will walk you through locating Naoise and how to successfully romance her in Baldur's Gate 3.
Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
### Visit Sharress' Caress in Act III:
To encounter Naoise, you must first progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey toward Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Your initial visit to this area involves meeting Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city.
If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, you can fast-travel to the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing, which will place you directly in front of Sharess' Caress.
Look for Nymph's Grotto:
You'll find Naoise in the Nymph's Grotto on the second floor. Look for a door with a green light and ivy growing on the walls. This door is locked but can be easily unlocked with a lock-picking roll of 10 or higher.
How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
### Interact with Naoise:
Upon entering the Nymph's Grotto, approach the bed where you'll see Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier, in an intimate moment. Jara will be displeased with your interruption, and as she speaks, a tadpole in her head will interact with yours, leading to a confrontation about the Absolute. She then transforms into a Mindflayer, which you must defeat.
After defeating Jara, Naoise turns her attention to you, expressing her fascination with Mindflayers. Choose the following dialogue options:
- "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."
- "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."
An Insight check will reveal Naoise's readiness for romance. Continue with:
- "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"
- "What did you have in mind?"
- 'Close your eyes and listen'
This unique romance occurs entirely in your mind. Naoise asks you to choose what you will be:
- Revered
- Contented
- Powerful
- Rich
- I think we're done here.
Selecting "Contented" leads to a brief romantic scene with Naoise. After the encounter, she will have no further interest in you, stating she can offer 'rapture' only once. Interestingly, this encounter does not affect your relationships with other romanceable characters, such as Karlach.
Shadowheart will grant you the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point following this encounter.
Upon successfully romancing Naoise, you will receive the Rapture boon, granting a passive 1d6 bonus to nearly all ability checks.
