Get ready, mobile gamers! My Time at Sandrock, the charming post-apocalyptic farming RPG, is heading to Android—but with a catch. An exclusive beta test is launching soon, but it's currently limited to players in China.
For those unfamiliar, My Time at Sandrock is the sequel to the popular My Time at Portia. Released on PC in 2023 by Pathea Games (published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment on Steam), this life-sim RPG is finally making its way to mobile devices. This Chinese Android beta is being handled by Conscience Studio.
When's the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta?
This marks the game's first-ever mobile test, a crucial technical trial run to assess the game's performance on mobile platforms. Expect some rough edges as the developers fine-tune resource loading and optimization.
This small-scale beta, exclusively available on the Haoyou Kuaibao platform in China, opens for applications until January 22nd. The beta test itself begins January 23rd. Note that save data will be wiped at the end of the test, but you'll have the opportunity to experience the first 13 chapters (30 days of in-game time) from scratch. Interested Chinese players can find the official beta test page for more details.
What's the Story?
Set 300 years after the cataclysmic "Day of Calamity," My Time at Sandrock plunges you into a post-apocalyptic desert. As the town's newest Builder, you'll gather resources, craft, befriend the locals, and even battle monsters. The game boasts a unique, adorable art style. Check out the trailer below!
