The PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro will be home to Saros, a new game from the creators of Returnal. Launching sometime in 2026, Saros builds upon the exhilarating gameplay of its predecessor, introducing a fresh narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Evolving the Returnal Formula
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros allows Returnal to maintain its unique identity. This new IP expands on Returnal's compelling narrative and mechanics. While Returnal features procedurally generated levels, Saros will incorporate persistent character progression, allowing players to enhance their weapons and suits, adopting a "Come Back Stronger" philosophy to overcome challenges.
