Mask Around: The Zany Sequel to Mask Up is Here!
Remember the wonderfully bizarre 2020 roguelike platformer, Mask Up? Well, developer Rouli is back with a sequel that amps up the weirdness: Mask Around!
This time, the yellow goo returns, but with a twist. While the original was primarily a 2D brawling roguelike, Mask Around adds 2D shooting mechanics. You can seamlessly switch between gunning down enemies and using your goo-based abilities to smash your opponents.
Resource management remains key. Your precious yellow ooze is still limited, so strategic use is vital, particularly during boss battles.
Mask Around: Available Now on Android!
Mask Around is currently available on Google Play. While an iOS release hasn't been announced, initial impressions suggest significant improvements over the original. The gameplay is expanded, requiring players to carefully manage their goo supply alongside their weaponry. The visuals have also received a polish.
