The second week of the Blast from the Past event in The Sims 4 is now live, offering players a deeper dive into the story of the mysterious visitor. While exploring this time-bending event, one challenge stands in the way of progression: locating the elusive Shards of Time. Here’s everything you need to know to track them down and continue unlocking exclusive rewards.
How to Find Shards of Time in the Blast from the Past Event in The Sims 4
As part of the event, your Sims are tasked with uncovering the truth behind the visitor by searching for objects known as “Shards of Time.” The game gives minimal guidance, only hinting that these fragments can be found by interacting with common household items—such as couches, refrigerators, and dressers.
With little direction, the most effective strategy is to visit a residential lot filled with searchable objects. This could be your own home or a neighbor’s house. Begin clicking on furniture and appliances to initiate a search. While not every attempt will yield a Shard of Time, keep trying—repeated searches on the same object can eventually produce a result.
You’ll need to find three Shards in total. With persistence, you should locate them within a few minutes of active searching. Once collected, return to Emit, the enigmatic visitor who remains near the park—close to the Special Time Capsule location. Present the Shards to him to unlock the next phase of the event and progress toward new rewards.
