EA Unveils Battlefield Labs: Your Chance to Shape the Future of Battlefield
EA has launched Battlefield Labs, offering a select group of players early access to the next Battlefield game. This isn't your typical beta; it's an opportunity to provide direct feedback and influence the game's development.
What is Battlefield Labs?
Battlefield Labs is a program designed to gather crucial player feedback. Chosen participants will get early access to in-development gameplay through remote playtests. This allows them to experience unfinished content and provide valuable insights to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios.
Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be selected, with plans to expand globally to tens of thousands. The program will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Battlefield Labs vs. Beta Testing
Unlike traditional betas, Battlefield Labs offers access to work-in-progress builds. Expect more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than a typical beta. The goal is to gather feedback on core gameplay elements such as combat loops, map design, and balance. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and cannot publicly share information.
