The Sims 1 and 2 might come back to PC very soon

The Sims franchise is marking its 25th anniversary with a bang, and while Electronic Arts has unveiled its celebratory plans, exciting surprises may still be in store.

A recent Sims teaser subtly alluded to the series' first two installments, igniting fan speculation about a potential revival of these classic titles. While no official announcement has been made, Kotaku sources hint at a possible digital PC release of The Sims 1 and 2, complete with all their original expansion packs, by the end of the week.

The possibility of a console release, and its timing, remains uncertain. However, given the potential for significant nostalgic revenue, it seems improbable that EA would overlook this opportunity.

The Sims 1 and 2 are relatively inaccessible today due to their age and limited legal distribution channels. Their return would undoubtedly be a welcome event for countless devoted fans.
