The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is packed with rewards, but earning them isn't a walk in the park. One particularly tricky challenge involves breaking and repairing an object. Here's how to conquer it.
Week 2's challenge requires raising your Handiness skill to level 2 or higher – a relatively straightforward task. The real hurdle? Repairing a broken object, with no obvious clues as to *which* object is broken. The solution? Break something yourself!
While you can use the "prank" interaction (requiring a specific Sim trait), a simpler method is to repeatedly use an item until it breaks. The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive option; using it a dozen or so times will reliably cause it to malfunction. You can do this yourself, or enlist the help of other Sims visiting your home.
Once your toilet is officially broken, repairing it is easy. With your Handiness skill at level 2 or higher, simply select the "Repair" option. A few seconds later, your leaky toilet will be fixed, and the challenge completed.
