Solar Opposites, the beloved adult animated sitcom, will conclude with its sixth season. Hulu announced today that the final season is slated to premiere sometime in the last quarter of 2025. This news follows the mid-2024 announcement of the show's renewal for Season 6, though it was not revealed at the time that it would be the series' swan song.
Since its debut in 2020, Solar Opposites has followed the humorous escapades of an alien family stranded on Earth after their home planet's destruction. The series was created by Mike McMahan, known for Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Justin Roiland, co-creator of Rick & Morty. Roiland was removed from the show in 2023 following charges of domestic violence, which were subsequently dropped. English actor Dan Stevens has since stepped in as the lead voice actor, successfully taking over the role.
