Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unveiled an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing Spider-Woman and the first Eidol Champion of 2025, Lumatrix. This update not only brings these thrilling new characters into the mix but also offers new quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all packed with valuable rewards for players to chase.
Spider-Woman, with her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage expertise, swings into The Contest on April 17th. Lumatrix, a dazzling yet dangerous assassin created by The Founders, makes their debut on April 9th. Lumatrix isn't just about style; their light manipulation powers hide a deadly intent. If you're eager to add Lumatrix to your roster, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event to acquire Lumatrix runs until June 4th.
The new Spy Games quest adds another layer of intrigue, with Black Widow enlisting Spider-Woman to investigate the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. Expect danger and deception as these elite spies unravel the truth behind Lumatrix’s sinister light show. The Spy Games event runs from March 9th to May 7th.
Deadpool also joins the fray with the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event, happening from April 25th to May 2nd. Thanks to Red Guardian's persuasion, Deadpool is ready to share a stash of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following this, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers a chance to acquire valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.
Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event will shake up the seven-day supply drop, running from April 18th through May 2nd. Achieving milestones in this event will earn you Poolshields, which can be exchanged for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, ensuring more free rewards for those who log in regularly.
