Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 Release Date Announced, Spin-Off Series to Debut Ninth Jedi Story

At Star Wars Celebration, fans were thrilled to learn that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is slated for release on October 29, 2025. This exciting announcement was accompanied by news of a new spin-off series that will expand on the narrative of The Ninth Jedi, which originally captivated audiences in Volume 1.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will continue to showcase the talents of various Japanese anime studios, featuring nine new short films. The participating studios include Studio Trigger, known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, WIT Studio of Attack on Titan fame, as well as David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. This collaboration promises a diverse and visually stunning collection of stories.

Speaking at Star Wars Celebration, writer and director Kenji Kamiyama shared details about the upcoming spin-off series centered on The Ninth Jedi. This series will delve deeper into Kara's journey, offering fans longer and more immersive stories within the expansive Star Wars: Visions universe.

While specific details remain under wraps, it's confirmed that Kara will reunite with Juro in the 'Child of Hope' episode featured in Volume 3, further building anticipation for what's to come.
