Pokémon GO's latest sensation: Gigantamax Pokémon and Max Battles! These colossal creatures require a team effort to defeat – you'll need 10 to 40 Trainers to conquer them. The GO Wild Area event is also making a big splash.
Get Ready for Gigantamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO!
The GO Wild Area event introduces Toxtricity, the Punk Pokémon! Catch both its regular and Dynamax forms by teaming up, participating in Max Battles, and potentially receiving it as a Special Research reward.
Gigantamax Pokémon dramatically increase in size and change their appearance. You and up to 39 other Trainers will form a squad to battle these giants. Strategy, coordination, and plenty of Max Particles will be crucial.
Max Particles are new items used to power up your Pokémon's Max Moves. Each Gigantamax Pokémon also possesses a unique G-Max Move. The Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global event runs November 23rd and 24th. Check out the trailer below!
You're already familiar with Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO. These massive creatures, glowing red with swirling clouds, are appearing throughout the game world. Trainers level 13 and above can unlock the "To the Max!" Special Research, leading them to these behemoths.Max Battles take place at Power Spots, which appear in various locations but not always in the same spot twice. Exploration is key to finding them.
