Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), slated for release next year, will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to combine the turn-based combat of its predecessor with the replayability of roguelite gameplay, creating a fresh monster-collecting experience. The Steam page highlights key features, including 10 dynamically changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile and whether its release coincides with the Steam and Switch versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for quick play sessions. Until Coromon: Rogue Planet launches, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS.
