Following the March 10th update to *Fields of Mistria*, the path to the Fire Seal is finally open! But be warned, unlocking it requires a specific offering: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, an Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's break down how to obtain each item.
Where to Find the Faceted Rock Gem
This rare artifact is tucked away in the Fields of Mistria mines, specifically on floors 50-59. We discovered one on floor 56, but be prepared for some digging—it's a relatively rare find. Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked spots on the mine floor. Expect to spend some time exploring these levels.
Where to Find Rockroot
Rockroot is a more common find, also located within the mines on floors 50-59. If you're a regular miner, you might already have one! Look for a dark, root-like plant (pictured above). You only need a single Rockroot to complete this step.
Where to Find an Emerald
The Emerald is the easiest to acquire. These geodes are fairly common throughout floors 50-59 of the mines. You might even have some already! Alternatively, break large boulders around Mistria, check Balor’s Wagon (they're only 200 tesserae), or, if you've unlocked the Stone Refinery (added in the March 2025 update), craft one yourself.
How to Get the Sealing Scroll
The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest triggered by speaking with Juniper after discovering the Fire Seal. This will lead you to Balor, who will obtain the scroll for you—for a price:
- 10 Silver Ingots
- 10 Rubies
- 10 Sapphires
- 10 Emeralds
You likely have these materials already, but if not, the mines are your best bet. Once gathered, deposit them in the bin near Balor’s Wagon.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
Once you possess the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot, return to floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. This will unlock the Fire Seal and access to a brand new biome!
