Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back to October 2025. The official Twitter (X) account of Bloodlines 2 made this announcement on March 26, along with a video update.
In the video, Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance to ensure the best possible experience for our players upon release."

First Revealed in 2019
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, initially scheduled for a March 2020 launch. Developed originally by Hardsuit Labs, the game faced its first delay in October 2019, moving the release to an unspecified date in 2020, and then to 2021.
During this period, several key team members departed from the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and development would be handed over to The Chinese Room. Subsequent delays saw the game's expected release shift from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
