The fun doesn't end with just catching Vanillite. Evolving it into Vanilluxe during the event or up to May 4th will grant it the special Charged Attack, Avalanche. This powerful move boasts 90 power in Trainer Battles and 85 power in Gyms and Raids, making it a valuable addition to your battle team.
For those looking to immerse themselves in the icy adventure, a Community Day Special Research ticket is available for $2. Completing the tasks will reward you with encounters with Vanillite featuring a unique Might and Mastery-themed special background, additional Vanillite encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more.
A Timed Research opportunity will extend through the following week, providing another chance to encounter Vanillite with the exclusive backdrop. Additionally, event-themed Field Research tasks will allow you to earn Stardust, Great Balls, and further encounters with Vanillite, including some with a special event background.
Throughout the event, several bonuses will enhance your gameplay experience. You’ll earn triple XP for catches, double Candy for each Pokémon caught, and Trainers level 31 and above will have double the odds of receiving Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours, and there will be discounts on trading.
